Dermoscopy CME module

Case based learning (context & comparators)

Presented by Elizabeth Seiverling, MD

Interactive, case-based dermoscopy emphasized describing structures and integrating clinical context. Key patterns: cerebriform epidermal nevus versus seborrheic keratosis; yellow aggregates with crown vessels in nevus sebaceus or sebaceous hyperplasia versus arborizing vessels in basal cell carcinoma. UV dermoscopy aided alopecia areata (“starry night”), tinea capitis (Morse-code hairs), and lymphoma recognition.
